Key Responsibilities
Requirements
- Manage full sets of accounts for assigned properties and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Process incoming cheques, bank deposits, and update accounting records and debtor listings.
- Prepare and issue monthly maintenance, sinking fund, and special levy invoices and statements.
- Handle supplier payments and manage petty cash.
- Generate monthly financia reports: income & expenditure, balance sheet, bank reconciliation, and journal audit trails.
- Submit GST returns and prepare Section 47(1)(c) certificates and reminder/demand letters.
- Collect estate-related fees and maintain accurate financial records.
- Liaise with auditors and coordinate annual account audits.
- Mentor and guide new Accounts Assistants as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or LCCI
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and work independently.
