Job Title: Credit Risk Strategy Manager

Overview:

A fast-growing financial institution is looking for a Credit Risk Manager to take ownership of credit assessment frameworks and lead risk oversight across its lending portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and shape the company's credit risk culture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end credit risk function across all loan products
• Develop risk scoring models and credit approval criteria
• Work with stakeholders to balance risk appetite with business growth
• Perform stress testing and scenario analysis across loan segments
• Provide recommendations to management on risk mitigation and loan structuring
• Stay abreast of macroeconomic and sectoral risk indicators
• Review and enhance risk policies, controls, and internal audit alignment

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of credit risk experience in a financial institution
• Proven ability to drive policy changes and risk-related strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior experience in SME lending or unsecured loans preferred
