Job requirement:

a. Perform railway operation duties such as safe pedestrian track access control, operate shunting vehicle or passenger/ engineering trains for movement, setting of routes for train movement, etc. in the Test Centre.

b. Manage central control at the OCC building to ensure safety and security of the Test Centre operations are compliance with the Safety Manual, Rule Book, etc.

c. Co-ordinate with contractors for lifting activities for train delivery into or out of the Test Centre.

d. Able to perform shift duty, work overtime and relief work.

e. Perform any other duties assigned by the Superintendent.

f. Able to lead and take charge of a team of work group or contractor for building services/ structure maintenance works, core system (Signaling/ Comms/ Control) maintenance works, etc. within the Test Centre.

g. Able to support oversea assignment if necessary.

h. To take-up the role as trainer when required

Profile of successful candidate:

a. Local Diploma Certification in E&M Engineering discipline working in railway industry. (Local fresh graduate with positive mindset will be considered.)

b. Candidate with train testing and commissioning work experiences would be an advantage.

c. Training will be provided to successful candidate to perform the railway operation duties.

d. With knowledge of Microsoft Office application for report submission and presentation.

e. Self-motivated and able to be crossed trained and keen to learn new skills.

f. Able to lead and take charge of a team of work group.

g. Possess a relevant Class 3 or 4 local driving license would be an advantage.

Additional info:
Working location at Tuas (450 Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim Singapore 639932) and the working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with possible OT on Saturdays when needed, which is payable).

Allowance provided for transport.
