The Venue Specialist is responsible for managing, coordinating, and facilitating all aspects related to the booking, setup, and operation of events at a venue. This role ensures that every event runs smoothly by liaising with clients, vendors, internal teams, and support staff, while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for venue bookings, site visits, and client inquiries.
• Coordinate logistics and scheduling for events hosted at the venue.
• Conduct venue tours and consultations for prospective clients, providing detailed information on services, packages, and facilities.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and documentation for venue hires.
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., catering, A/V, housekeeping) to ensure all client requirements are fulfilled.
• Monitor event setup and breakdown to ensure timelines and standards are met.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all venue spaces.
• Oversee vendors and third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with venue policies and event plans.
• Assist in marketing and promotional efforts to drive venue bookings.
• Manage post-event feedback and client satisfaction processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in venue coordination, event planning, or hospitality operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and event management software.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
• Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the venue for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs when assisting with event setup/breakdown.
