Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer Position in Statistical Mechanics and Complex System

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at the College of Science of NTU offer multidisciplinary academic programs that provide students with a wide-ranging and up-to-date education. We offer undergraduate training leading to BSc (Hons) and graduate training leading to MSc and PhD
degrees.

The Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP) at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer in Statistical Mechanics and Complex System. We are looking for candidates holding a Ph.D. degree
in Physics, or a closely related area. Contributions to undergraduate curriculum development, and teaching of courses for the SPMS's MSc coursework programs are expected.

The successful applicant will play a key role in teaching and practice-oriented research, with a focus on industry engagement and interdisciplinary applications. In particular, the appointee will be expected to:

• To design new courses for undergraduate, postgraduate and Master of Science (coursework) academic programs, and contribute to the curriculum development. To conduct lectures and tutorials, set and grade assessments and final exam for three courses per year.
• To conduct original research and research related activities, supervision and co-supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• To perform academic outreach and administrative duties as assigned by the Division/School.
