Job Duties:

• Handle account opening and due diligence matters.
• Perform due diligence checks on client documentation and maintain comprehensive and organized filing of client records.
• Act as the subject matter expert for private banking business, compliance, and AML/CFT matters.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments related to AML/CFT, MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore), and FATF (Financial Action Task Force); communicate changes to internal teams and ensure policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
• Prepare monthly AML/CFT reports for submission to Senior Management and Headquarters.
• Assist in the preparation of MAS reporting other ad hoc or annual AML/KYC reports required by MAS.
• Support the Head of Compliance in managing interactions with local regulatory bodies and external/internal auditors.
• Lead client onboarding matters, ensuring all regulatory and internal requirements are met.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing clients and other high-risk clients.
• Streamline client onboarding processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Support operational tasks such as signatory verification and processing changes to client accounts.
• Manage FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standard) forms and related data processing.
• Conduct ongoing WorldCheck screenings as the primary checker and escalate any adverse news to the Head of Compliance.
• Lead or participate in projects and assignments as required by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML/CFT, or private banking
• Strong knowledge of MAS, FATF, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
