We are looking for an experienced APAC Community Manager as part of our team to join our journey in fostering a healthy community and help extend our players' gaming experience in-game & out.
In this role, you will contribute to navigating the complex APAC environment and driving our game's narrative to the players.
Reports To
Head of Player Engagement, APAC
What will you do?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Planning, organizing, and executing community-focused strategies and content campaigns for our game
- Responsible for the smooth running of community management and community event-related projects
- Coordinating communication and initiatives with various stakeholders to collaborate closely
- Oversee workflows and systems to facilitate our services' smooth and efficient delivery to internal and external stakeholders
- Co-ordinates effective communication between local Community Managers and other product members
- Ensures that all project and team-related documentation is stored correctly and is up to date
- Reports project statuses and information to the management team regularly
- Supporting and executing live updates, content releases, and cross-promotional campaigns for Traditional Chinese/Korean/Japanese markets
- Research the latest market and industry trends and best practices to stay up to date
- Compiling reports and delivering updates on community sentiment, concerns, suggestions, and other related community insights
What are we looking for?
- At least 5 years' experience in the gaming industry, with min. 2 years' experience in relevant fields such as Community Management or Social Media Management
- Job scope involves management of cross-regional team and supporting Traditional Chinese/Korean/Japanese language markets. Proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills) in English and one of the APAC languages listed (Traditional Chinese and Mandarin/Korean/Japanese) is essential
- Familiarity with Wargaming products or military genre products
- Understand APAC gaming community market, trend and players' characteristic and behavior
- Having experience working on gaming community campaigns (inclusive of community-facing initiatives like online events, giveaways, tournaments, offline events, etc)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Good planning and strong project management skills
- Results-driven and have a player-centric mindset, with the ability to multitask and come up with creative solutions to engage our players
- Team player to be able to work with cross functional, regional, and global teams
- Have a strong passion for games
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Being a streamer or familiar with the streaming environment is a plus
- 2 years of people management or mentoring experience
- Experience working in a relevant anime, media, lifestyle entertainment companies
