Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Officer to join our Air Freight Forwarding Division. The billing team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing to customers, supporting cash flow, and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner based on job files and agreed service terms.
• Liaise with the operations and customer service teams to ensure billing accuracy.
• Work closely with the internal finance team to resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Communicate with customers regarding billing queries, credit notes, and payment matters.
• Support the Team Lead in month-end closing processes, particularly in billing and revenue recognition.

Requirements

• Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of billing experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and invoice validation.
• Good understanding of billing systems, documentation, and freight forwarding processes.
• Familiar with MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiar with SAP or Cargowise systems.
• Experience working with international clients and multi-country billing.
