Job Description & Requirements
To deliver multiple key strategic objectives in the Asia Pacific region, that centre on data, systems and analytics. This will ultimately benefit clients and drive business development, whilst helping the company stay ahead of competition through innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Help drive the adoption of the "Jacinth system" (Client Service Portal) with key clients in the Region, providing training where relevant and scoping different requirements to inform future and ongoing development.
• On-board the Singapore and other regional offices including Taiwan and Australia onto the "e-cert" (document generation) system and provide training where relevant. Feedback bespoke use cases to the development pipeline.
• Ensure that the full scope of Singapore clients relevant data is captured on Jacinth.
• Help promote the "Know-your-customer" initiative and form part of the culture
• Get a key understanding of the new broking system being implemented so that the London office can learn from this
• Build network of clients, insurers and local intermediaries
• Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and company's shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure the part of the business for which you are accountable for demonstrably complies with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and company's shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business. If shortcomings are identified take responsibility for remedial action planning, and action in conjunction with the relevant experts within the firm.
Requirements
• Masters or equivalent with a quantitative focus
• ACII (Chartered Insurance Institute)
- Deep understanding of client service portals and broking systems, including how they are used to service clients for certification, document generation, value added services
• Deep understanding of all the key functions of a Brokerage, including Broking, Account Management, Claims and Internal Processing.
• Knowledge of all key aviation market segments and business functions, including Airline, General Aviation, Aerospace Infrastructure and Space
• Familiarity with "Know-Your-Customer" concept
Experience & Skills
• 5+ years experience in the Aviation Insurance industry.
• Must have led projects with a strong data focus, including delivering analytical tools for Clients or Insurers.
• Helped implement a "Know-Your-Customer" initiative
• Understand the dynamics of the London Market
• Advanced MS Excel, SQL and PowerBI or equivalent business intelligence software
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be able to understand client needs, articulate these to developers, and where relevant present to key stakeholders or pitch to clients.
