The Project Manager is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and business continuity initiatives for the Essential Health portfolio throughout Asia Pacific. This includes projects related to inter-affiliate supply (cross-region) as well as in-region implementation of selected projects for market entry. The role plays a pivotal part in orchestrating end-to-end collaboration across value stream, commercial, operations, R&D, Quality, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment from project approval through completion, partnering with Supply Chain, Manufacturing (internal & external), Integrated Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Marketing, and Quality teams.
• Serve as the key contact for senior leadership, sponsors, and partners for assigned intra-/inter-regional projects.
• Conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning for projects in all stages, following structured project governance methodologies.
• Collaborate with team members to evaluate project scope, feasibility, investment, and resources. Develop detailed timelines and manage activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify and escalate trigger events (e.g., changes in scope), propose recommended solutions, and assess business impact.
• Perform alternative analysis to identify opportunities for acceleration or improved outcomes, considering the full business impact across Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver.
• Provide strategic leadership to project teams and clearly communicate objectives at both the regional and global levels.
• Liaise with Franchise leads and functional teams to align on key milestones and project goals.
• Lead and facilitate Core Team meetings, ensuring strong communication and alignment.
• Participate in regional project team discussions and provide project status updates to all key stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and capability development for junior project managers and team members.
• Proactively identify risks and lead development of mitigation plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and present project updates, risks, and escalations to leadership in a timely, structured manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• At least 8 years of work experience, preferably with cross-functional exposure (e.g., R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance)
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GMP, ISO) preferred
• Experience with New Product Development (NPD) and Life Cycle Management (LCM) is a plus
• Knowledge of PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools preferred
• Understanding of Process Excellence methodologies is an advantage
• Demonstrated experience with project/program management processes is required
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred
