Details of the Division and Team:
The Financial, Regulatory and Risk Reporting Specialist ensures timely and accurate financial, regulatory and risk reporting to senior management, regulators, auditors and other relevant stakeholders, in line with regulatory and statutory requirements. They work closely with the Financial, Regulatory and Risk Reporting Managers to provide insight and analysis over the financials and accounts within their remit. They collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide complete and comprehensive reporting in the financial books and records of the Bank, for the effective management of financial and accounting risk.

Your key responsibilities:
- You will work collaboratively with project stakeholders to deliver the desired outcome by ensuring Finance's end-to-end requirements are clearly articulated and captured in the design of strategic valuation engines, particularly in the downstream integration with core Finance systems.
- You will assist in functional workflow and recommend actions by evaluating, analysing and studying proposed changes to alternative solutions to improve on finance and accounting processes.
- You will assist to co-ordinate and supervise Finance's participation in testing, implementation and evaluate post-implementation benefit and lessons learnt.
- Participate in identifying resistance and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and savings through strategic and tactical solutions across APAC & MEA;
- Support the execution and delivery of APAC & MEA Innovation book of work by working closely with key CFO across the region.
- You will also be responsible to help identify opportunities to contribute towards CFO transformation strategies by leveraging on MMD (map my day) framework and process-reengineering exercises
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking & financial services industry
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Python or SAP BO or Alteryx or MS Applications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Experience working in finance function including change management role within a large complex organization.
- Exceptional problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to clearly articulate and present Finance plans and updates to senior stakeholders.
