Job Summary

The Project Controller plays a critical role in overseeing cost and schedule controls on large-scale process building projects. This position ensures alignment with client requirements, project budgets, and timelines. Working closely with project management, procurement, and finance teams, the Project Controller helps maintain financial accuracy and project efficiency from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis.
• Support review, issuance, and evaluation of subcontractor change orders.
• Coordinate with accounting tensure project forecasts align with funding and billings.
• Align cost and schedule data across teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in developing governance processes and training materials.
• Control budgets throughout all project phases - from concept to completion.
• Deliver detailed cost reporting and periodic updates (daily/weekly as required).
• Identify and assess project changes and contractor invoice claims.
• Support project site teams with implementation plans and escalate misalignments.
• Review budget revision requests and draft recommendations and correspondence.
• Present cost analysis results to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with client portfolio controls and governance.
• Assist in updating projections for cash flow, staffing, and contingency.
• Manage the change control process including documentation and logs.
• Define project work scopes and prepare schedules and budgets for varying project sizes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in project controls/cost control on process plant or industrial building projects (e.g., semiconductor, pharmaceutical, chemical).
• Proficient in project control tools such as Excel, SAP.
• Knowledge of constructionsequencing, M&E works, and cleanroom environments is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced project environments
