Job Description:

- Follow day today weather monitoring of fleet ships.

- Monitor Insurance matters (PnI and HnM) of assigned vessels.

- Handle vessel registration / annual tonnage tax payment matters of assigned vessels.

- Crew related incident / illness investigation / follow up with ship managers.

- Handle post fixture operation matter to ensure smooth support to vessel, ship managers, charterers.

- Handle cargo claims of assigned vessels if any.

- Maintain office library with marine publications upto date.

- To mentor and support marine assistant.

- Monitoring and Analysis of the vessel's performance under the charter party.

Required skill and knowledge and others:

1. Knowledge of International rules / regulations / conventions such as SOLAS , MARPOL, STCW , MLC etc

2. Knowledge of cargo operation (specially dry fleet), Contract of Ship Management / Charterparty.

3. General Knowledge of Bulk Carrier Practice.

4. Good analiytical skills and organized

5. Competence to manage small team and his/her subordinates

6. Should have sailed onboard at least as Chief Mate on Foreign Going Vessels for one year.

7. Strong commitment to own responsibilities

8. Independent, with accountability to meet deadlines with time management skill to multitask if required.

9. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skill with his superiors, colleagues and subordinates.

10. At least Chief Mate (F.G.) License holder or Maritime degree or with equialent education.
