Your Role:
You are the creative bridge between imagination and innovation. As our Creative Innovation Director, you will spearhead the integration of emerging tech (think generative AI, interactive media, AR/VR and beyond) into the creative process - all while preserving and enhancing the magic of our storytelling.
You won't just introduce AI tools for mood boarding or ideation - you'll lead the design and implementation of automation pipelines, creative tooling integrations (e.g. Figma+Midjourney+Notion), and even prototype data-driven storytelling engines or interactive brand moments. You understand how to map workflows, define AI prompts, or orchestrate a suite of tools to cut down production time and increase output quality.
You will work hand-in-hand with our Creative Strategy and Events teams to dream up concepts that captivate and then use your tech-savvy to make them feasible and unforgettable. One day you might be writing a narrative for a haute couture product launch, the next you could be prototyping an AI-driven installation that responds to audience emotions in real time. Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Concepting & Storytelling: Collaborate with creative leads and strategists to translate client briefs into big ideas and narratives enhanced by technology . You'll still craft mood boards, storyboards and pitch decks, but now with an innovative twist - e.g. suggesting an AI-generated art backdrop as part of an event concept or using data storytelling to personalize a journey. You ensure every idea is not only inspiring and on-brand but also elevated by new creative tech possibilities. (You might write the storyline for a experiential journey and concurrently outline how an interactive projection or chatbot could play a role in that story.)
- Innovation & Feasibility Leadership: As much as you ideate, you also execute. You will prototype concepts in fast turnaround - from mocking up visuals with AI tools to building quick interactive demos (with the help of designers and developers) - to prove ideas and wow clients. You'll assess the feasibility of experimental ideas, working closely with our Design and Production teams: Can this be built? How can we build it smarter with tech? You are the voice in brainstorms that says, "We can achieve this through [AI/tech solution]" and then charts the path to do so, ensuring ideas are ambitious yet achievable . Think part scenographer, part hacker - you make sure our wildest ideas can come to life beautifully and realistically.
- Workflow Enhancement & Training: Champion new creative workflows inside Visionnaire. You'll introduce and train the team on tools that improve our ideation and production - for example, using an AI image generator to produce concept art in minutes (saving our designers time), or implementing a script-writing assistant to refine our presentation copy. You'll develop best practices for integrating these tools into daily work and be the point person for our internal "innovation lab" initiatives. Essentially, you give our creatives superpowers - automating rote tasks, providing inspiration on tap, and freeing up the team to focus on big-picture creativity. Importantly, you'll also establish guidelines to use AI responsibly (ensuring our luxury clients' data and brand integrity are never compromised).
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work across all departments - Accounts, Events, Design, Production - to inject innovation at every stage. You will lead cross-functional project squads for special high-tech initiatives, serving as both creative director and tech advisor. In pitches, you partner with account directors to present our vision to clients, articulating the story and the tech in the same breath . You'll also liaise with external tech partners or vendors when specialized development is needed, speaking their language and translating it back to our team. Internally, you foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity and "what if we try...?" thinking, making innovation a natural team sport at Visionnaire.
- Thought Leadership & Client Engagement: Act as an evangelist for Visionnaire's innovative spirit. You'll stay on top of global trends in experiential marketing, AI, and design - and constantly share that knowledge. This could mean organizing a monthly creative tech inspiration session or authoring a short trend report for our luxury brand clients on "The Future of AI in High-End Events." In client meetings, you'll confidently present visionary concepts (grounded in tech know-how) with clarity and charm. You can translate technical ideas into romantic, brand-friendly language that gets clients excited. Ultimately, you help position Visionnaire as a forward-thinking partner for luxury brands - one that marries timeless storytelling with the latest in innovation.
Who You Are:
- A natural storyteller with a futurist mindset - you see technology as a storytelling medium in itself. You can craft a narrative arc and understand the mechanics behind an interactive installation.
- You are tech-curious, systems-savvy, and structured in your experimentation. You're the kind of person who tests plugins on your own, reads changelogs of software updates, and is always beta-testing the next gen creative app.
- You have a working knowledge of creative development environments (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, WebGL, Blender, Runway, Stable Diffusion, Spline, Framer, etc.), and you understand how those tools link up with production pipelines.
- Creative to your core, yet methodical in execution. You might have a background in creative direction, experience design, or scenography, combined with a geeky side that's fluent in digital tools or code. (You don't need to be a full-stack developer, but terms like Unity, Unreal, GPT, or Arduino don't scare you - in fact, they intrigue you.)
- 5-8+ years' experience in a creative role at an agency, experiential marketing firm, or innovation studio. Perhaps you've been a Creative Lead who's always pushing for the latest tech in projects, or a Creative Technologist who loves storytelling and wants a bigger creative voice - ideally, you've worn both hats. Experience with luxury or lifestyle brands is a strong plus; you understand the demanding standards and the "wow factor" needed for high-end experiences.
- Culturally fluent and curious: You draw inspiration from art, fashion, history, and the cutting-edge of pop culture and tech. You understand luxury aesthetics and brand codes but also know when to break the mold with a daring new idea. You're constantly exploring - be it a new AI art exhibit, the latest Marvel immersive experience, or a niche design blog - and bringing those insights into your work.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator: You can present and defend ideas in front of clients with confidence and charm. You can also converse with designers about visuals, with developers about APIs, and with clients about ROI - adjusting your language each time. You are patient with colleagues who are less tech-savvy, and excited to mentor them. Importantly, you thrive on teamwork and feedback; you know great experiences are built by diverse minds working together.
- Strategic and detail-oriented: You never lose sight of the strategy behind the spectacle. You ensure that every tech element serves a purpose in the story or solves a client challenge. You're organized in juggling multiple projects, capable of drafting a project plan for a prototype one minute and jumping into a creative brainstorming the next. You respect budgets and timelines, and actually enjoy the puzzle of "How can we do more with the resources we have? Maybe AI can help..." .
- Bonus skills: Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling tools) and any programming or interactive media experience (Creative Coding, game engines, etc.) will be a plus. Fluency in English is a must; other languages (especially Asian or European languages) are a bonus in our multicultural client environment.
