Job Description
  • Apply a systematic approach to identify students' learning needs (learning, behavioral & socio-emotional) and concerns through regular discussions and observations.
  • Work directly and indirectly with students to develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Monitor students' progress and guide them in exploring strategies for improvement.
  • Stay current with developments in psychology, special educational needs (SEN), and child development.
  • Build positive relationships with students to foster self-confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
  • Provide affirming and constructive feedback during individual or group sessions.
  • Train and support stakeholders (e.g. teachers, parents) in applying effective strategies to support students' learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement student support plans.
  • Conduct professional development sessions for school staff in areas related to psychology, SEN, and child development.

Job Requirements
  • A recognized degree in Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Special Educational Needs, or a related field. Relevant experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of N(T)/G1 students and experience supporting diverse learner profiles.
  • Passionate about enabling students with higher needs, to grow into confident, capable individuals.
  • Skilled at building rapport with students to encourage and guide them effectively.
  • Innovative and resourceful, with experience in applying evidence-based interventions.
  • Committed, responsible, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
