IT Infrastructure Project Manager | IOT

• Remuneration: Up to $10,000 + AWS

We are seeking a highly driven and technically adept IT Project Manager (IoT) to lead complex system integration projects involving sensor technologies, network infrastructure, and backend systems. This role requires strong project management skills, a solid technical foundation in IoT and systems integration, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide regular updates on project milestones, risks, and financial tracking to internal stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineers, analysts, and technical teams to ensure successful system deployment and integration.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues when needed.
• Oversee vendor deliverables, contracts, and payment schedules to align with project goals.
• Ensure all systems are designed and delivered in compliance with security, performance, and service-level requirements.
• Coordinate full integration and testing of hardware/software components to meet technical specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance sensor systems through advanced analytics and data insights.
• Optimize IoT sensor deployments using data-driven approaches to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency.
• Enforce cybersecurity best practices to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensor data.
• Integrate front-end sensor systems with backend applications and analytics platforms.
• Drive cross-team innovation by aligning project outcomes with broader digital strategies.
• Present technical insights clearly to stakeholders and senior management, simplifying complex ideas for business alignment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, sensor architectures, and best practices in IoT and digital infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong experience in:
  • Deployment and lifecycle management of large-scale sensor or IoT systems
  • Stakeholder coordination for optimal site planning and execution
  • System and network infrastructure integration
  • Supporting ICT infrastructure (e.g., power, cabling, wireless, transmission)
  • Cybersecurity practices for edge computing and IoT devices
• Familiarity with video surveillance, data transmission, secure storage, and real-time operational support is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Passion for emerging technologies, innovation, and delivering impactful solutions.
