The European Basketball powerhouse is in Singapore! The Official Real Madrid Foundation Basketball School provides educative and developmental basketball training for toddlers, children and youths. We have the honor of being the first basketball school outside of Spain for the club in the world. We are recruiting basketball coaches who are interested to be part of our team.

Job Summary

Join the Real Madrid Foundation Basketball School to deliver expert basketball coaching for youth, applying proprietary training methods that develop players' ability, tactical knowledge, and character, while fostering a positive and inclusive sports environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate basketball training sessions for toddlers, children, and youth up to 17 years old, applying the Real Madrid Foundation proprietary methodology to develop abilities, tactical understanding, and character.

• Provide constructive guidance and feedback to players to enhance their abilities, game intelligence, and teamwork.

• Design and implement practice drills, exercises, and game simulations that improve players' basketball skills and decision-making in training contexts.

• Conduct training sessions on a contract basis according to the agreed schedule, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Collaborate with full-time coaching staff to align training methodologies and maintain program standards.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating training environment that promotes sportsmanship, discipline, and passion for basketball.

• Partner with coaches and staff to support participation in tournaments, friendly matches, and related events.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during training sessions and matches by adhering to safety protocols.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant coaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience coaching youth basketball, with a focus on young children, to effectively develop foundational skills.

• Passion for youth development and commitment to instilling core values in young athletes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with players, parents, and staff.

• Ability to create and sustain a positive and motivating training atmosphere.
