About the Role

To minister and provide pastoral care to the Chinese-speaking church community, in alignment with the strategic vision of the church and furthering the Kingdom of God.

Responsibilities

• Lead, shepherd, and disciple the Grace Groups in the Chinese congregation, promoting the teaching of Christian faith
• Lead and mentor the District Leaders in their calling, character and skill competency
• Identify and raise potential Bi-Vocational Ministers, District Leaders and Grace Group leaders for the Chinese ministry
• Provide various expressions of pastoral ministry to Chinese-speaking Gracians and their loved ones
• Responsible for the annual planning and budgeting of the assigned region
• Mobilize the resources to serve the needs of the church
• Teach and facilitate in discipleship classes and seminars for the Chinese ministry
• Involve in weekend services and event ministry operations for the Chinese ministry
• Involve in specific projects or taskforce assigned by church leadership

Requirements

• Is gifted and is called to full-time ministry, loves people, and has a strong passion for discipleship and pastoral care
• Possess pastoral ministry experience serving the Chinese congregation, preferably with preaching, teaching and/or service leading exposure
• Effective team leader and player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Has theological training or pursuing theological courses, preferably, from a Pentecostal college
• Has good relational skills with the ability to influence people at all levels
• Meticulous, independent and resourceful, with a positive mindset
