Job Scope & Responsibilities:
1. Primary Healthcare Provision
- Provide comprehensive general medical care to the employer and their immediate family.
- Conduct routine health screenings, physical exams, vaccinations, and health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes).
- Prescribe and manage medication regimens and therapies.
- Offer emergency care and first-line response to medical issues while traveling.
2. Preventive & Lifestyle Medicine
- Monitor and advise on preventive health strategies, nutrition, fitness, and wellness.
- Design and implement personalized health plans.
- Provide guidance on stress management, sleep hygiene, and mental well-being.
3. Medical Coordination & Specialist Liaison
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary, both locally and internationally.
- Act as the primary liaison with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
- Manage medical records, test results, and follow-ups for all family members.
4. International Travel & Medical Readiness
- Accompany the family on overseas trips (both short and extended durations).
- Prepare medical kits and emergency plans suitable for destination-specific risks.
- Be available 24/7 during travel for medical needs or emergencies.
- Ensure medical coverage and knowledge of healthcare systems in frequent travel countries.
5. Discretion & Confidentiality
- Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and professionalism.
- Maintain secure and private medical records for all family members.
- Be sensitive to cultural and personal privacy needs.
6. Administrative Duties
- Keep detailed, confidential medical logs and health histories.
- Ensure health insurance claims or pre-authorizations are managed.
- Oversee vaccination schedules, travel health documentation, and medical visas if needed.
Job Requirements:
- Fully licensed Medical Doctor (MBBS, MD or equivalent).
- Valid registration in Singapore and/or internationally.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in family/general practice.
- Emergency medicine experience preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice.
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and cultural sensitivity.
- Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
- Valid passport and travel clearance.
