Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee and lead the finance and accounting functions for Respiree Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) and support consolidated group reporting to the U.S. parent company. This is a key role that will ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting, tax, and regulatory standards, while supporting the company's rapid growth and investor-facing operations.

The ideal candidate will bring cross-border financial management experience, with strong familiarity in both Singapore and U.S. GAAP requirements, and an aptitude for leading audits, tax, and investor reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• General Accounting & Bookkeeping
  Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring timely posting of all journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with relevant accounting standards for Respiree Inc. (USA) and all its affiliated subsidiaries. Manager invoicing and procurement processes including purchase order, invoice and accounts receivables management.
• Financial Reporting
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare investor-ready pro forma income statements and supporting materials.
• Reconcile pro forma financials with GAAP-compliant income statements, highlighting key adjustments and non-recurring items.
• Assist with consolidated reporting packages for Respiree, Inc., aligned with U.S. GAAP.
• Audit and Tax
• Lead coordination with external auditors for statutory and group-level audits.
• Prepare annual tax filings (Singapore and U.S., where required) and manage all tax compliance obligations, including GST and withholding tax.
• Liaise with international tax consultants and advisors as needed.
• Payroll & HR Compliance
• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll, CPF submissions, and statutory employee benefits compliance.
• Support HR in financial matters related to ESOP and incentive plans.
• Investor & Board Support
• Prepare financial materials for board meetings and investor updates, including financial models, performance dashboards, and fundraising documentation.
• Support equity transactions, including stock option tracking and capital table updates.
• Cash Flow and Budgeting
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including intercompany transactions and foreign currency considerations.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting exercises and provide variance analysis to management.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (IRAS, ACRA) and support Delaware-based compliance under U.S. regulations.
• Maintain company secretarial records and support corporate governance filings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, with exposure to U.S. and Singapore compliance frameworks.
• Experience preparing financials under both SFRS/IFRS and U.S. GAAP required.
• Demonstrated experience in:
• Preparing pro forma financial statements and reconciling them with GAAP-compliant financials.
• Supporting due diligence and investor data room requirements.
• Prior experience in a VC-backed startup or multinational subsidiary highly desirable.
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; comfortable working with global teams and senior leadership.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with external auditors, legal counsel, and investment teams.
• Familiarity with equity management platforms (e.g., Carta).
• Prior involvement in fundraising or M&A transactions.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive problem-solving skills.
