Job Description

The Global Tax Manager is responsible for developing and implementing global tax strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with international tax laws. Key responsibilities include overseeing corporate tax compliance, managing transfer pricing policies, and providing tax planning advice. The manager collaborates with various departments to ensure business models and transactions are tax-efficient and compliant with local regulations. Additionally, the role involves conducting research and analysis on existing and proposed tax laws, monitoring developments such as BEPS implementation, transfer pricing and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce tax risk.

The Successful Applicant

A successful International Tax Manager should have:

• Professional qualifications in accounting, tax, or a related field.
• A strong background in international tax across multiple jurisdiction with initial years of experience starting out in Big 4 tax consulting.
• Balanced background of tax compliance and advisory will be ideal.
• Agile, proactive and self-starter mindset. Able to contribute at both strategic and hands-on level.
• Good communication skills,. excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively with cross-border teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with international tax concepts including OECD guidelines, digital services tax, transfer pricing, and global minimum tax regime
