Corporate Safety Manager (LTA Projects)
We are seeking a highly experienced and committed Corporate Safety Manager to lead, implement and enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental (WSHE) management systems across multiple LTA construction projects. The role ensures compliance with MOM, LTA, and relevant statutory regulations, promotes a strong safety culture, and leads safety performance improvement across the organization.

Key Requirements:
We are seeking a highly experienced and committed Corporate Safety Manager to lead, implement and enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental (WSHE) management systems across multiple LTA construction projects. The role ensures compliance with MOM, LTA, and relevant statutory regulations, promotes a strong safety culture, and leads safety performance improvement across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Safety Management
- Develop and implement the company's overall safety and health management system in compliance with WSH Act, LTA regulations, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
- Set corporate safety KPIs and ensure project sites meet safety performance targets.
- Review and approve project-level safety plans, risk assessments, and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
- Lead incident/accident investigations and implement root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Compliance & Liaison
- Ensure all LTA, MOM, NEA, and SCDF regulatory submissions and inspections are properly managed.
- Liaise with LTA project officers, regulatory authorities, and consultants on all safety and environmental issues.
- Maintain and update all required safety certifications (e.g., bizSAFE Star, ISO 45001).
Audit & Inspection
- Plan and conduct regular internal safety audits, site inspections, and safety reviews across all project sites.
- Coordinate external audits and implement follow-up actions on audit findings.
Training & Culture Building
- Develop and implement corporate-wide safety training programs (including TTT, hot works, working at height, confined space, etc.).
- Conduct safety leadership programs and safety awareness campaigns.
- Mentor and coach project-level Safety Personnel (e.g., WSHOs, WSHCs, Supervisors).
Emergency Preparedness
- Oversee emergency response planning and drills for all sites.
- Coordinate with LTA and other agencies on safety-related emergency preparedness and crisis management.
Key Requirements:
- Academic Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Environmental, Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Certification:
Valid MOM-registered WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer).
Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification is an advantage.
bizSAFE Level 4/Star preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 10 years of safety experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior safety management role.
Proven track record in LTA infrastructure/civil projects is mandatory. - Skills:
In-depth knowledge of WSH Act, LTA safety requirements, and ISO standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Good problem-solving and incident investigation capabilities.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
