Contract Period:

• Base Period: 30 June 2025 - 29 May 2026
• Option to Extend: 29 June 2026 - 28 May 2027 (at the discretion of the Authority)
  ⏰ Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
• Service Not Required: During school holidays, Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning at Science Laboratories:

• Prepare experimental setups in Science Labs as per established protocols.
• Prepare specimens and samples for investigative activities.
• ️ Organize and maintain lab apparatus, equipment, and teaching resources.
• Assist in ordering Science Lab supplies.
• ✅ Ensure safety guidelines in Science Labs are strictly followed.
• Maintain cleanliness by performing basic cleaning and mopping of labs.
• ️ Conduct stock-taking of lab apparatus and equipment.

2. Support for Applied Learning Programme (ALP):

• Coordinate with vendors for maintaining ALP projects in the school.
• Assist in preparation for ALP lessons for P3, P4, P5, and P6 students.

3. Administrative Tasks:

• Prepare and organize hands-on resources for Science/ALP events.
• Manage teachers' desk copies distribution at the start of the year and perform stock-taking at year-end.
• ️ Handle administrative duties such as sorting, filing, and scanning documents and exam papers.
• Assist with packing and counting of exam papers during examinations.

4. Miscellaneous:

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by School Leaders or HOD (Science).

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum Secondary 2 qualifications.
• ️ Language Proficiency: Proficient in English.
• ⭐ Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Science laboratory preparation in schools.
• ‍ Expertise: Familiarity with Science lab protocols, safety guidelines, and stock management.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain organized workspaces.
