Counsellor

The Counsellor is responsible for

  1. Attending to clients individually, pairs or small groups.
  2. Applying evidence-based counselling interventions aligned with professional ethical principles.
  3. Promote psychological well-being for organisations with the conduct of talks and workshops.
  4. Embarking on continuous self-development with regular supervision and training courses
  5. Performing 24/7 crisis phone and CISM duties upon assignment
  6. Work towards Registered Counsellor status with the Singapore Association for Counselling
  7. Perform any other duties necessary to promote the services of the organisation

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum Master level degree in Counselling or related mental health discipline accredited by the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or any other international professional body such as the UKCP, BAC, or ACA.
  2. Must have at least three years of continual registration with SAC or any of such similar bodies and still currently registered.
  3. Experience in handling various forms of individual or group crisis.
  4. Competent use of various software such as the Microsoft and Google suite, and at least 3 different virtual meeting applications
  5. Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Individuals who are multilingual are also preferred.
  6. A strong team player
