Working Hours: 5 days office hours 
Salary: Up to $5.5K 

Job Scope: 

•    Establish optimal clinical learning environment.
•    Assess, plan, implement and evaluate preceptorship scheme for strengthening clinical support of new staff. 
•    Provide OJT training of new staff and assist Nurse Managers in the wards to ensure their competencies. 
•    Co-ordinate and organize training activities to strengthen unit-based generic and specialty clinical practices.
•    Plan, implement and evaluate unit-based and discipline-based training courses.
•    Ensure appropriate orientation, training and continuing education for nursing staff to advance and maintain the required level of competency

1.    Ensure that patient care delivery is implemented and monitored according to established standards of care and practice.
2.    Act as a resource person to Nurse Manager on clinical nursing and nursing training matters and issues.
3.    Apply principles to prevent medico-legal issues in relation to patient care.
4.    Perform summative assessment of nursing staff and students. 
5.    Training and education for other non-nursing staff/volunteers.       
6.    Develop and conduct hospital-based training in relation to MOH requirements and organizational

Job Requirements: 

- Min. Diploma / Degree in any relevant nursing/ healthcare field 
- Min. 4-5 years relevant experience in clinical care 
- Preferably with specialist diploma in clinical education
