Job Description:

• Collaborate with students in either one-on-one or group settings, tailored to their functional levels.
• Assess and document students' Speech Language therapy requirements and advancements regularly, overseeing training programs and assessing their efficacy.
• Offer consultation, support, and progress updates on Speech Language therapy to pertinent members of the rehabilitation team and caregivers.
• Engage in discussions with caregivers regarding student-related concerns.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of programs.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in Speech Language therapy service delivery to ensure therapy programs remain current.
• Conduct internal training sessions for relevant staff, caregivers, and volunteers within the organization.
• Identify and address individual student needs, formulating, developing, and implementing customized Speech Language therapy programs.
• Participate in research related to Speech Language therapy service delivery whenever feasible.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate students' integration into the community.
• Provide guidance to junior OTs/Interns (Senior Speech Language Therapist position only).

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree
• Registered with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council.
• Demonstrates an interest in working with children who have special needs
