Contract: 1 year contract (extendable)

Location: Buona Vista

Working Hours: can plan working schedule with supervisors, 3-4 days/week

Pay: 31/hr

Job scope

• Perform sleep monitoring according with protocol requirements.
• Monitor trial participants during the sleep monitoring sessions.
• Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data, establish/document baseline values and to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection processes.
• Perform appropriate physiological calibration to ensure proper signals and make required adjustments.
• Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure and other significant events in order to facility scoring and interpretation of polysomnography results.
• Score sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines.
• Score clinical events (such as respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movement, arousals, etc.) using industry standards.
• Generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep/wake and clinical event data.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to use polysomnographic equipment.
• Perform routine equipment care, maintenance and cleaning of polysomnographic equipment.

Job requirements

• Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT).
• Comply with required regulations and guidelines for clinical trials.
• Comply with professional standards of conduct.
• Demonstrate appropriate skills (communication, social, customer service, computer, etc.) essential for the role.
• Able to perform shift work, primarily at night.
