Job Scope:

• Oversee all activities pertaining to the medical aspects, processing and storage of haematopoietic stem cells under the Peripheral Blood Stem Cells (PBSC), Mononuclear Cell Collection (MNC) related services as licensed by MOH;
• Responsible for the review and compliance of standard operating procedures with respect to donor recruitment, donor eligibility, processing procedures in accordance to the required standards of regulations and accreditations.
• Review and approve client reports and its associated documents, provide advice and consult for issues relating to client records such that that decisions made are aligned with acceptance criteria for the provided PBSC, MNC services. This can be assigned to the designated deputy.
• Approval of document change requests arising from changes to regulatory and/or accreditation standards, process improvements to the company’s QA system.
• As and when required, to liaise with transplant physician and review release and transplant outcome data.
• Attendance in quality meetings annually and when agreed necessary, for review of changes in standard requirements, medical and/or technical aspects of donor recruitment, eligibility, product releases.

Job Requirement: 

• Fully Registered with SMC and MRA 
• Specialisation in Haematology aspect 

1. haematopoietic stem cell transplant;
2. transfusion medicine, provided that the workingexperience relates to the assessment, screening andevaluation of donors of cord blood;
3. blood banking
