Contract Duration

• Base Period: 10 January 2026 - 9 January 2027
• Option Period: 10 January 2027 - 9 January 2028

Working Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (inclusive of 30-min lunch break)
• Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (inclusive of 30-min lunch break)
• During School Holidays: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (inclusive of 30-min lunch break)
  No work on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
  If required to work on Saturdays, time-off will be granted.

Scope of Services

⚗️ 1. Laboratory Preparation & Support

• Prepare chemicals, specimens, and apparatus for science laboratory lessons.
• Ensure adherence to MOE safety standards and guidelines.
• Assist Science teachers during practical sessions with setup, distribution, and cleanup of materials.

2. Laboratory Maintenance & Safety

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of Science laboratories.
• Follow and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lab management.
• Check that all equipment and apparatus are functioning properly and well-maintained.

3. Inventory & Stock Management

• Conduct inventory checks on laboratory resources and consumables.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.

4. Science Events & Administrative Support

• Provide support in the organization of Science events, exhibitions, and field trips for pupils.
• Perform administrative or operational tasks as assigned by teachers or HOD (Science).
• Support Science curriculum activities and school functions as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

✅ Minimum Qualification

• GCE 'O' Level certification (or equivalent).

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of experience as a Science Laboratory Technician in a local primary school.
