Position Summary

The Content Strategist will play a crucial managerial role in overseeing content strategies for our agency's clients, specializing in F&B brands. This position involves developing high-level content plans, managing their execution, and ensuring quality delivery. The Content Strategist will work closely with our team of creatives, providing direction and feedback, whilst maintaining client relationships and overseeing project management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' social media accounts establish attention-dominance in their markets and engage their communities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Management
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive content strategies for clients that align with their brand identity and marketing goals
  • Create high and low-level content plans and revise them based on internal feedback and client input
  • Apply TSM's proven framework for account strategy models (Founder-Led, Content Creation, Journey, KOL)
  • Contribute to the agency's overall content methodology and best practices through research and development

Team Leadership & Creative Direction
  • Manage and coordinate the execution of content strategies, working closely with the creative team
  • Provide strategic direction and feedback to videographers, video editors, graphics designers, and social media managers
  • Oversee client shoots, providing high-level direction to ensure alignment with content strategy
  • Lead project management efforts to ensure all deliverables are submitted on time and meet quality standards

Client Management & Performance Analysis
  • Manage client relationships, responding promptly to queries and concerns
  • Create and present monthly performance reviews for managed clients, analysing key metrics and providing actionable insights
  • Translate brand identities into compelling social media strategies
  • Build strong relationships with F&B brand stakeholders

Research & Development
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and platform updates
  • Analyze creator videos for research and development purposes, noting why videos performed well
  • Study social media account strategies, documenting what strategies accounts employ and why they succeed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure cohesive and effective content strategies across all client accounts

Monthly Deliverables

  • Content strategies and proposals: Developing the overall strategy for potential client social media accounts
  • Video plans: Following the TSM framework provided
  • Shoots directed: Being present to manage the team and direct shoots (half or full-day)
  • Monthly performance reviews: Noting improvements for videos
