The individual in this position will be a team member of one of the Brand Marketing Teams at Nestle Purina PetCare AOA. As a Brand Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Strategy and Long Term Vision for the Cat Snacks Portfolio on a central level and guide key markets to maximize local opportunities. Brand Managers must be able to engage and inspire others both cross functionally and in the local markets.

Brand Managers must be able to engage and inspire others both cross functionally and in the local markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop Brand / Portfolio Strategy: Contributes to development and execution of strong, functionally aligned brand and ICP plan. Analyze business and consumer trends, identify key issues facing your business and build and execute innovative brand plans. Demonstrate consumer insight/strategic brand building capability and posess effective project management skills.
- Deliver Growth Through Innovation And Renovation : Identify new, consumer insight driven, innovative ideas to drive brand growth. Develop new product ideas, renovate current offerings and explore opportunities to expand success into new markets. Embed understanding of localised innovation to unlock growth potential.
- Market Cluster Management : Work in close collaboration with markets to identify gaps and opportunities and to develop robust activity plans in line with the brand essence and to accelerate growth. A Brand Manager needs to be able to find synergies by supporting markets in striving for brand growth and opportunities, however also challenge if the need of the markets are compromising overall business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional internal (and external, including agency) teams in the development and execution of brand strategies. Collaborate closely with brand leads for alignment with brand strategy.
- Brand performance & Project Management: independently manage projects, tracks and analyzes the performance, health and strategic alignment. Understands business impact of PFME and TTS investment of her/his brand. Effective PFME budget management. Strong focus and understanding of Brand P&L.
- Palatability & Sustainable products. Work closely with the PTC, TAG, and R&D teams to develop products that meet the palatability and nutrition targets, address new trends, are cost competitive and are sustainable by design.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in marketing and/or generating demand functions at Nestlé or equivalent FMCG
- Experience working in cross functional teams
- Successful experience in project management.
- Successful experience in achieving goals through working with others (ie not sole contributor).
