Digital Content Creator - Tell Stories That Connect Communities
Do you see the world through a creative lens and believe that powerful stories can bring people together? We're looking for a Digital Content Creator who's not just SKILLED WITH A CAMERA OR DESIGN SOFTWARE-but someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, uncovering stories, and transforming everyday moments into engaging digital content.
In this role, you'll play a key part in elevating our online presence by creating content that goes beyond event coverage-we want real voices, community stories, and campaigns that spark conversations and connections.
This role is designed to elevate organisation's digital presence through strategic and creative content development. Beyond event coverage, the objective is to create engaging, meaningful, and community-driven content that fosters deeper connections with residents. This includes curating impactful stories, conducting street interviews, and designing visually appealing digital assets that enhance community engagement and interaction.
WORKING HOURS
• 5-day work week : 4 weekdays + 1 weekend
• Working hours : 9.00am to 6.30pm or 12.30pm to 10.00pm
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia, or a related field.
Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or video production.
• Strong proficiency in CapCut, Canva, and other relevant editing tools.
• A portfolio demonstrating video content, graphic design, or social media engagement.
• Experience in social media analytics and content strategy is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in conceptualizing social content and copywriting.
• Strong storytelling and content curation abilities.
• Proficiency in video editing and design software.
• Ability to execute a content calendar and develop campaign strategies.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics to track content performance.
Soft Skills:
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interviewing skills for street interviews.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proactive team player with a passion for community engagement.
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys dynamic, fast-paced content creation and has a strong eye for both video and design, bringing locals' community spirit to life through digital storytelling.

- Develop engaging, meaningful content that extends beyond event coverage to showcase community stories and initiatives through creative video content.
- Conduct street interviews to spotlight local perspectives and bring fresh voices to our platforms
- Conceptualize, edit & produce videos using CapCut and Canva, with quick 24-hour turnarounds when needed
- Design visually appealing posters and digital assets for social media campaigns, community events, and outreach efforts.
- Develop a content strategies to boost online engagement and drive meaningful community interaction.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, refining data-driven directions.
- Stay updated on social media trends and integrate fresh ideas into content planning.
- Integrate and join organisation Communications Workgroup and attend monthly meetings to align content creative efforts with overall communications strategy.
