About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Performance Marketing Assistant Manager to lead the successful launch of our learning platform in the Taiwan market. This role will drive user growth and revenue by implementing strategic paid media campaigns on platforms commonly used in Taiwan, such as LINE, Meta (formerly Facebook), Instagram, and Google (including YouTube).
Your primary goal will be to introduce our platform to parents of primary school children in Taiwan. You will leverage data-driven insights to optimise campaigns, understand user journeys, conduct A/B testing, and craft creative, culturally relevant content strategies-including original video production-to engage our target audience.
You will report directly to the Performance Marketing Senior Manager and collaborate closely with digital designers, copywriters, and local partners to execute impactful advertising campaigns. Your efforts will play a crucial role in establishing our brand presence and achieving stellar results in this new market.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in digital marketing who is eager to take ownership and contribute significantly to the growth of our business in Taiwan. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and working-level proficiency in English are required, as you will communicate with global teams in English for daily operations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the successful launch of our learning platform in the Taiwan market, developing and executing paid media strategies to drive brand awareness and user growth.
• Manage and optimise paid social campaigns across Taiwan's key platforms, including Meta, Instagram, LINE, and Google (including YouTube).
• Monitor and report campaign performance daily, assessing results against CPA, ROAS, and LTV targets to ensure sustainable growth.
• Implement conversion rate optimisation strategies to enhance landing pages, improve user experience, and maximise conversions.
• Provide actionable insights based on data analysis, focusing on solutions and adjusting strategies to meet Taiwan market needs.
• Enhance conversion tracking, attribution models, and marketing analytics capabilities tailored to Taiwan's platforms and user behaviours.
• Document processes, frameworks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the successful launch and scaling of campaigns.
• Collaborate with digital designers, copywriters, and local partners to develop culturally relevant and impactful advertising content.
• Assist in campaign ideation, including creating original video content, and offer recommendations to achieve growth with a positive ROI.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with hands-on experience managing performance-oriented channels, especially in Taiwan, with significant media budgets.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling direct-to-consumer products in new markets, particularly in Taiwan.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing and experimentation, with the ability to design and analyse tests to foster a data-driven marketing culture.
• Proficient in evaluating performance marketing channels using ROAS, CAC, CPC, attribution models, and other key metrics.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to draw actionable insights from raw data.
• Familiarity with Taiwan's top platforms (e.g., LINE Ads) and understanding of the local digital marketing ecosystem.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Outstanding organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to improving processes and innovating new strategies for success.
• Working-level proficiency in English to communicate effectively with global teams, prepare reports, and participate in international meetings.
