The Outreach, Marketing, and Student Engagement Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager drives initiatives to enhance the School of MAE's visibility, attract prospective students, and foster an engaging campus environment. This role combines strategic marketing, outreach, and student engagement to align with the University's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to recruit diverse prospective students through events, partnerships, and campaigns.
  • Create and implement a marketing strategy using digital platforms, social media, and email campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Plan and oversee student programmes and events that promote inclusion, academic success, and community building.
  • Plan and implement alumni engagement activities to build a stronger alumni community, providing opportunities for professional networking
  • Lead onboarding and orientation sessions for new students, ensuring a smooth transition into their MSc programmes.
  • Analyse effectiveness of marketing campaigns - use data analytics to identify what works and pivot strategies based on insights.
  • Prepare periodic reports on student engagement including regularly collecting feedback on past events, use this information to improve future planning.


Requirements:
  • A recognized university degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, outreach, or student engagement, preferably within higher education
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for storytelling and connecting with diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and analytics software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Passion for enhancing the student experience and promoting educational opportunities.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and executing student engagement activities, workshops, and alumni events is an advantage.
