Lead, Marketing Communications
The NTU University Advancement Office (UAO) supports the University's giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, corporations, foundations and friends that result in goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research that underpin a shared sustainable future.

The Lead, Marketing Communications will strategize, plan, and execute comprehensive marketing communication initiatives to drive and support fundraising efforts. This role involves leveraging various communication channels to effectively convey the organization's mission, goals, and fundraising campaigns to targeted audiences, fostering engagement and financial support.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy Development
  • Develop and drive comprehensive marketing communication strategies for fundraising campaigns.


Content Creation and Collateral Development
  • Develop and produce proposals for donors.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content for various platforms and channels.


Multi-Channel Marketing Implementation
  • Define and utilize a mix of traditional and digital marketing channels to maximize reach.
  • Formulate and lead in implementing online strategies, including email campaigns, social media, and website optimization.


Brand Messaging and Positioning
  • Devise and lead in implementing a consistent and compelling brand message aligned with organizational values.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing Communications, Journalism or a related field
  • In-depth understanding of fundraising culture/trends, donors' behaviour, preferences and the philanthropic landscape.
  • Experience in corporate communications work, with at least 5 years in managerial positions
  • Adept at writing across a range of styles for a wide spectrum of stakeholders and audiences
  • Ability to think critically, and respond effectively to changing needs and requirements of projects and programmes
  • Ability to conceptualise and develop communications strategy and plans
  • Good understanding and working proficiency of social media and/or digital platforms
  • Highly creative thinker and able to supervise team members in communications and writing
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and establish priorities, with a commitment to quality outcomes.
  • Confident and articulate
