We are looking for a high-energy, creative Marketing Intern to help us tell our story and grow our community in the heart of Chinatown.

The Role

We don't want a "coffee runner." We want a digital storyteller. As our Marketing Intern, you will be the voice and lens of August Hair Salon. You'll be right in the middle of the action, capturing transformations, engaging with our clients, and building a brand that people talk about.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Script, film, and edit high-quality TikToks and Instagram Reels (think: "Before & Afters," hair care tips, and salon "day-in-the-life" vibes).
• Social Media Management: Manage our posting schedule, engage with followers, and stay on top of the latest viral trends in the hair and beauty world.
• Campaign Support: Help execute exciting launches, such as our new hair extension services and seasonal promotions.
• Community Growth: Assist in managing our loyalty program and brainstorming ways to keep our clients coming back.
• Copywriting: Craft catchy captions and email newsletters that reflect our brand's personality.

What We're Looking For

• The "Eye": You have a knack for aesthetic visuals and know how to make a video look "premium."
• Social Native: You live on TikTok and Instagram and understand what makes content go viral.
• Commitment: Able to commit to a 44-hour work week for at least 3 to 6 months.
• Personality: You are proactive, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with both our stylists and our amazing clients.
• Tools: Basic skills in CapCut, Canva, or Lightroom are a huge plus.
