Responsibilities

• Management of a team responsible for tender management, solution design and service performance to major global customers
• Responsible for ensuring tenders/RFQs/RFIs are submitted consistently ahead of the deadlines set by the existing / prospective client
• Responsible for allocation and quality control of the tender response being handled by the department and control the key milestones within each submission
• Ensure tenders/RFQs/RFIs and business proposals meet all relevant specifications and are in line with the internal standards; and are compliant with client requirements
• Manage multiple regional/global clients at any given point and being responsible for advising and guiding the team on pricing options
• Responsible for the consolidation and submission of tender documents internally
• Produce projected P&L information to help the Management Team decision making
• Ensure compliance with corporate tender management processes and guidelines
• Liaise with other country offices, agents / partners, vendors, product management teams and other related stakeholders to collect competitive offers and information
• Coordinate with countries to ensure accurate inputs and timely responses
• Adhere to project plan and time schedule for adequate internal review and evaluation prior to submission

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, business, mathematics, or the sciences
• Freight forwarding pricing and commercial management experience in a regional role or across several countries in Asia Pacific
• 8 - 12 years of working experience with a strong background in freight forwarding industry
• Experience in Tender Management - RFQs/RFIs for Air, FCL & LCL
• Academic and practical experience with a wide array of freight forwarding services and solutions pricing and proposal developments
