We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Air Freight Manager to lead and oversee our air freight operations, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of services in line with industry standards and customer expectations.

Position: Air Freight Manager
Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 5,000 - SGD 7,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily air freight operations, ensuring timely and efficient handling of import and export shipments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, ground handling agents, and key logistics partners.
• Negotiate air freight rates and space allocations with carriers to achieve competitive pricing and service levels.
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, IATA standards, and company SOPs.
• Manage a team of air freight staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
• Monitor operational KPIs, financial targets, and customer service standards.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within the air freight department.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant air freight forwarding experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of international air freight operations, customs clearance procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficient in freight management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
