Job Description:
- Handling the end-to-end process of freight operations, including import/export, and transshipment for air and sea shipments.
- Handling customer service, documentation, updating system, arranging transportation, process payments through payment vouchers
- Liaise with overseas agents, branches, hauliers, transporters, and customers
- Send Arrival Notices to customers and coordinate clearance and delivery instructions
- Registration of shipments into the forwarding system CW1 timely and accurately
- Arrange insurance coverage and clearance documents as required
- Issue bill of landing and declare outward/transshipment permit
- Arrange payments with Carrier / Co-loader upon receipt of Arrival Notices
- Raise invoices and dispatch to customers, and follow up with customers on discrepancy
- Monitor orders and ensure payment terms are being adhered
- Vendor cost verification
- Coordinate independently with haulier, carrier and warehouse to ensure timely clearance of shipments
- Liaise with hauliers and transporters for delivery arrangements
- Monitor arrival of shipment and delivery process and follow up on discrepancy
- Manage import, export and transshipment consignments
- File AMS & AFR for the required port
- Update information into freight management system and issue timely billings
- Provide sales support and handle customers queries and complaints
- Extract data for simple reports (Excel) if required by customers
- Plan and manage the consolidation of shipments

Job Requirements:
- Min 1 year of experience in handling ocean/air shipments
- Proficient in import / export / transshipment procedures for ocean/air shipments
- Experience with freight management systems and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

Compensation:
- Working hours: Mon to Fri 9.30am - 6pm, Sat (WFH) 9.30am - 1pm
- Working location: Nearest MRT Somerset
- AWS
