Job Duties

• To ensure accurate and timely production of relevant export documentation and declarations 
• Perform general shipping functions including system data entries
• Coordinating and resolve shipment issues
• To follow-up and coordinate with customers, shipping lines, transport team, trucking partners and overseas offices to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of the shipments
• Ensure customer requirements are meet, customers are up-to-date on their orders and documentation is in order
• To ensure related charges are billed and collected timely from the consignee or its agent
• To effectively follow up with various parties such as warehouse/oversea offices on any short-landed, damaged or discrepancy cargo
• Answering to customer's inquiries and handling customer's complaints
• Preparing of payment vouchers, verifications of vendor costings, closing of all shipment files and filling of documents
• Work with various parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, depot, trucking, insurance, customs clearance etc. based on shipment requirements

Job Requirements

• Min. a Diploma or higher
• Knowledge in freight forwarding, import procedure or permit declaration
• Willing to work OT if required
• Able to work with initiative
