#Salary: Up to basic S$3500/month

#Location: Changi/Alps Avenue

#Work Days: 5.5 days (Mondays to Fridays: 9.00am to 5.30pm, Alternate Saturdays: 9.00am to 1.00pm)

The organization is a global logistics leader with a full suite of logistics services including freight forwarding, warehousing, removal, and supply chain solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end airfreight forwarding processes, including booking, documentation, airline and ground handler coordination, customs clearance (for imports), export documentation, billing, and shipment closure
  • Serve as the primary contact for import and export shipments, providing timely updates, handling inquiries, and addressing operational issues
  • Work closely with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, and customs authorities to ensure smooth shipment execution and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and internal procedures, ensuring service standards are consistently met
  • Take ownership of high-value or complex shipments, proactively resolving delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs queries
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and regulatory documentation for internal, customer, and regulatory purposes.
  • Guide junior customer service staff on airfreight forwarding procedures, shipment documentation, and best practices.
  • Escalate unresolved customer or operational issues to management for appropriate follow-up

 

Job Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of airfreight import processes, documentation, and customs compliance
  • Strong operational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple import shipments simultaneously
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and professional approach
  • Clear communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and customers
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Hands-on experience with the CargoWise system is preferred but not a must
