Requirements
1. Service Onboarding & Transition Management
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to receive and confirm full details of customer requirements, service parameters, agreed deliverables, and operational plans upon finalizing an agreement.
- Ensure all ongoing service processes are correctly established, documented, and aligned with internal capabilities and customer expectations.
- Act as the main operational contact for customers during service delivery and ongoing support phases.
2. Project & Operations Management
- Plan, manage, and execute air freight-related projects from initiation through delivery and formal completion.
- Oversee end-to-end air and sea freight operations. This includes managing bookings, carrier/airline coordination, shipping and customs documentation, regulatory clearance, real-time shipment tracking, and final delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable international and local regulations, carrier-specific requirements, internal SOPs, and client-specific protocols across all modes of transport.
- Manage operational risks, exceptions, and escalations to ensure service continuity.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Billing, and IT to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Engage and manage external partners such as airlines, ground handlers, freight agents, and overseas offices.
4. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor operational and project KPIs including on-time performance, cost efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify gaps, drive corrective actions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Capture lessons learned and best practices to enhance future project execution.
5. Reporting
- Prepare regular reports on project status, operational performance, risks, and financial impact.
- Ensure accurate documentation, billing alignment, and formal project closure with internal and customer sign-off.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-8 years of operational experience within either air freight (e.g., with airlines/forwarders) or sea freight (e.g., in project/solution/key account operations). Given the integrated nature of our client solutions, practical experience in both air and sea freight is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of air and sea freight operations, routes and capacity management
- Strong customer orientation and ownership for delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin to liaise confidently with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
