Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day cargo operations, including cargo acceptance, documentation, build-up, breakdown, loading, unloading, delivery, etc.
• Ensure adherence to operational and safety procedures and standards including corporate and other regulatory requirements
• Ensure smooth and efficient handling of both import and export cargo
• Handle any cargo irregularities and claims in accordance with the company's standard procedures
• Work closely with ground handling agents, monitor their performance and provide feedback
• Prepare regular cargo reports and performance data for management review
• Supervise and provide guidance to cargo staff, including cargo agents, handlers, and other personnel, to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• At least 10 years of experience in the air cargo industry
• Strong understanding of air cargo regulations, including safety and security requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to identify and resolve issues related to cargo operations
