Job Description

• Manage the day-to-day activities to ensure IT and security systems and applications are working properly.

• Have a global oversight of the local IT infrastructure, including security, networking and servers, with the help of external IT providers.

• Act as the point of contact for the business for all IT, safety and security related project and issues

• Gather business need to establish functional specifications to find adequate IT solution.

• Optimise and rationalise the use of IT solutions and enforce data governance principles (with focus on data sensitivity).

• Develop and enforce all IT, Cybersecurity and safety and security policies and procedures with guidance of the headquarters.

• Manage system and applications accesses for users.

• Supervise and manage the external providers, ensuring adequate support for local or cloud applications.

• Provide IT support for local users.

• Maintain documentation on all IT and security systems and processes.

• Maintain an inventory of IT Assets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Assistant Manager should have:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in IT systems management and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.
