About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Junior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, has hands-on experience with data cleaning and analysis, and is eager to apply data-driven insights to real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources including APIs and web scraping.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and support the development of data models.
• Visualize data using tools such as Excel, R Studio, or Tableau.
• Work collaboratively on projects, supporting team members in delivering clear and actionable insights.
• Contribute to the creation of presentation materials and visual dashboards.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Master degree in Statistics or any other relevant fields
• Hands-on project experience, including building a chatbot using OpenAI resources
• Proficient in R, SAS, Excel; learning SQL and Tableau.
• Strong data handling, cleaning, and visualization skills.
• Comfortable to liaise in business chinese to stakeholders stationed in China and Taiwan.

Good to Have:

• Experience using APIs such as Google Routes API and NUSMods.
• Familiarity with GitHub and collaborative coding tools.
• Certification from SAS Global Certification Program and Excel (Coursera).
