Job Title : Data Collection Specialist (Extrusion & Injection Molding Processes)

Location : West, Singapore

Job Type: Contract - 6 Months

We're looking for a detail-oriented Data Collection Specialist for a Short term project to gather and document data from extrusion and injection molding processes. This role supports the foundation of an AI model that predicts colour outcomes in polymer processing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Monitoring:

• Record real-time process parameters from extrusion and injection molding machines.
• Track material usage, batch numbers, and feedstock characteristics.
• Perform sample measurement.

2. Data Organization & Validation:

• Input data into Excel or software tools and check for accuracy.
• Report any errors or unusual findings to the engineering team.

3. Collaboration & Reporting:

• Collaborate with the team to understand process details.
• Prepare weekly summaries and help create reports for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Background on Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Familiar with extrusion, injection molding, or similar manufacturing processes.
• Prior data collection, quality control, or machine operation experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables, basic analysis).
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently by following set protocols.
• Primarily work in a manufacturing lab with required PPE.
• Provide accurate data, record process variations, and prepare a summary report when necessary.
