Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the IT department in Singapore office. Covering cyber security, infrastructure, vendor management, internal IT support.
- Technical and hands on leadership role (mandatory).
- Well verse in MAS TRM and all other regulatory technology guidelines and best practices to ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Provide EUC secondary support to end users.
- Configure and administrate firewalls, network switches, access points
- Ensure all infrastructures equipment and end user devices are up to date with regular patches.
- Administrate and troubleshoot virtualization (VMware) and cloud environments (O365, Azure).
- Strong understanding of backup and replication technologies and strategies to ensure effective data retention and recovery.
- Strong understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR)
- Deep understanding of cyber security standards, best practices and data protection / encryption principles.
- Review, implement and document IT policies and processes to ensure clarity, consistency and compliance.
- Perform regular reviews of the organisation's IT policies to ensure full compliance with MAS notices and guidelines, proactively identify and resolve compliance gaps, and implement necessary improvements to mitigate regulatory and operational risks.
- Ensure the consistent application of security control policies to both IT infrastructure and end-user computing platforms.
- Effective vendor management skills to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to service level agreements (SLA).
- Manage, implement, and execute IT strategies and projects, and work with business units to align technology solutions with business objectives, drive efficiency, and support operational goals.
- Collaborate with all business units to plan, manage, and optimize IT budgets in alignment with operational needs and strategic goals.
- Inventory control and management, including tracking, auditing, and maintaining records of all IT assets to support lifecycle management and cost optimization.
- Prepare and present monthly management reports detailing project progress, timelines, outstanding issues to ensure transparency and alignment with business goals.
- Lead and execute the annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) exercise in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) are achieved.
- Periodically perform risk gap analysis to identify vulnerabilities, assess control weaknesses and recommend mitigation measures to enhance the organisation's security posture.
