Qualifications
- 24/7 Operational Support: Provide continuous oversight of our Data Centre facility, including security, access control, process optimization, audits, and compliance certifications.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Regularly monitor building services to ensure optimal performance of Data Centre systems and facilities.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Lead studies and reporting focused on Green Initiatives, particularly in power utilization and general facility management to drive efficiency.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the maintenance and daily operations of Data Centre facilities to ensure uninterrupted availability and fulfill our service commitments to customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to team success by managing and strategizing activities with a focus on outcome-based continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Oversee and coordinate with vendors and contractors to maximize effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, equipment longevity, and reliability while adhering to industry best practices for Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure.
- Maintenance Coordination: Participate in the scheduling, coordination, and execution of significant planned and emergency maintenance events, ensuring these activities are conducted in a controlled manner to maintain the reliability of critical systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Centre Operations support and facilities management within a Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) environment.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing next-generation Data Centre strategies is advantageous.
- Possess Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) would be an advantage
