Responsibilities

1. Design and implement secure network architecture :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network security solutions.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security appliances to protect the network infrastructure.
• Responsible for installation, configuration, testing and support in IT system implementation projects.

2. Threat detection and incident response :

• Monitor network traffic for unusual or suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Investigate security breaches, analyze root causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the network.

3. Security infrastructure management:

• Manage and maintain security-related hardware and software, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to ensure a proactive approach to security.

4. Network access control and authentication :

• Implement and manage access control lists, VLANs, and segmentation to restrict unauthorized access and limit lateral movement within the network.
• Configure and manage network authentication protocols , such as RADIUS, TACACS+, and 802.1x.

5. Security compliance and auditing:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) and internal security policies.
• Participate in security audits, assessments, and regulatory compliance reviews.

6. Collaboration and communication:

• Collaborate with IT teams and departments to provide security guidance and recommendations for network-related projects and initiatives.
• Communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Manage and follow up with IT vendors on IT service level delivery, infrastructure/hardware issue.
• Collaborate with IT vendor on project implementation

7. Documentation and reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network security configurations, procedures, and incident responses.
• Generate regular reports on network security status, incidents, and performance metrics.

8. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in IT infrastructure .
• Effectively administrate Windows Active Directory, Symantec Endpoint Protection, VMware, Veeam Backup, SolarWinds and Ivanti.
• Hands on experience in managing Linux Server and Windows Server.
• Good technical skill in LAN/WAN, configuration and troubleshooting server, storage and tape library hardware knowledge.
• Knowledge of networking such as Fortinet, Sophos and Cisco switch, router, and firewall.

Self-driven and ability to work independently.
