- Design, configure, implement, and manage secure and high-performance LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud networks
- Maintain and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network devices including switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives
- Administer and troubleshoot enterprise firewall systems (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Implement and support VPN solutions, SD-WAN, and remote access configurations
- Monitor network performance, conduct root cause analysis of incidents, and manage escalations
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for solution delivery and incident resolution
- Ensure compliance with network security policies and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, drills, and network continuity initiatives
Optional / Good to Have:
- Exposure to cloud networking: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (VPC, Transit Gateway, etc.)
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks, NAC, and identity-based access controls
- Understanding of DevOps/NetOps principles and CI/CD pipeline integration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of enterprise networking experience
- Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DNS, DHCP, NAT
- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent network platforms
- Experience in managing large-scale network projects and ITIL-based operations
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to support mission-critical systems and be part of on-call rotations when needed
Preferred Certifications:
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or higher (e.g., CCIE is a plus)
- Fortinet NSE 4/5/7, Palo Alto PCNSE, or equivalent
- ITIL Foundation Certification
